The ACTi D55 has a progressive scan CMOS that gives you a2048 x 1536 high resolution picture when recorded at 15 frames per second. This camera can also give you a 1920 x 1080 resolution if you want to record at 30 frames per second. With the built in IR LED you can record even though you have 0 lux illumination, making this camera a good choice for areas that need to be monitored both day and night.
The ACTi D55 uses Power over Ethernet technology allowing you to mount the camera where ever you want to. It saves you the hassle and cost of having to install an additional power supply just in order to use the camera.
ACTi D55 has video motion detection that can be set into three regions. This gives you the ability to mask certain areas of the video screen for privacy if necessary. Once an alarm is triggered the camera will upload video or snapshots to a FTP server, email the snapshots to specified recipients, and notify the command center.
The ACTi D55 is ONVIF compliant when used with a software development kit.
