The ACTi E24 is an indoor camera that is small enough to discretely monitor your home or business. The progressive scan CMOS sensor allows you to get high definition resolution of up to 2048 x 1536 at 15 frames per second. While you will get less resolution at the faster 30 frames per second you will still get high resolution of up to 1920 x 1080. The ACTi E24 has a mechanical IR-cut filter that allows it to record in illumination as low as 0.05 lux.
The video motion detection signals the operation base to alert you of an alarm and possible intruders in the area. Once the alarm has been triggered an upload of video footage, or still shots, begins to your server. Using the H.264 or MJPEG compression format you will use less bandwidth and save storage space.
The ACTi E24 mounts easily to walls or ceilings. No additional power supplies are necessary as this camera uses class two Power over Ethernet to operate. Simply plug in your network cable and the camera is powered.
